Liberty Ribbon Collections

Spring seems to have flown by and we are now in to the joys of summer.  We've been busy finalising collections for Liberty in London and will soon be launching the new range which is very exciting. Our next project is to design the Christmas ribbons and all of these ranges and packaging will be made here in the UK.  I am very much focusing on retro colours including mustard, apple green, burnt orange and vintage rose pinks.

New Grosgrain Ribbon Collection

14th April 2011

We've just complete our designs for the next collection so it's all very exciting. Already i'm in Christmas mode designing festive designs. New colours you will be seeing on our pallete are brown, burnt orange and more vibrant and retro colours from my 1970's childhood. We've also found that certain lines sell out quickly so we've increased our volumes so you don't miss out. The designs will be launched in September.

Luxurious Italian Reversible Wrapping Paper

I absolutely fell in love with this wrap whilst in Milan at Christmas. (I luckily landed a job with a famous French fashion house which took me there!)

The silky soft wrap just oozed the wow factor so I decided to stock it myself. Despite the £15 price tag for a 25 metre roll, it is selling well and during the thrifty times, I personally love to make creations and give to those who love beautiful presentation and adore those small touches.

Definately not for kids, large presents or for those who just rip their presents open (and don't care about the wrapping). I've chosen some vibrant colours to cheer us all up and the wrap is available at www.janemeans.com

Made in England

Just in time for the world cup, I've designed a retro style Union Jack Ribbon which is available by the metre for £1.20. Made in England this 1" taffeta ribbon will get you in the spirit and is ideal for tying on gifts, napkins, bunting etc.. We are officially launching this at Home and Gift in Harrogate and will be introducing more designs for the 2012 London Olympics.

Gorgeous Cupcakes from Cakeadoodledo

I was lucky enough to meet the delightful Kate from Cakeadoodledo last week on a photo shoot in the Cotswolds. I am still licking my lips after tasting the scrummy Sticky Toffee Cupcakes and her delicious creations are to die for. Check out the lovely website http://www.cakeadoodledo.co.uk/specials.html but don't blame me when the diet goes wrong!
